OPC-UA Config Automation Studio (not required with simulation config)

  • Add new role (ServiceUiRole) at user and role system (ConfigurationView/Configuration/PC/AccessAndSecurity/UserRoleSystem). New role must be added to a user, use default user and passwort from from password safe (Service UI OpcUa Connection). Configured user and password must be set at service ui frontend under configuration too.

  • Consider: ServiceUiRole must have Role ID = 1.

  • Activate OPC-UA

  • AS version below 6
    • Activate OPC-UA System
    • Change Information models to version 2.00 opc-ua-config
  • AS version 6 to latest
    • Enable OPC UA Client/Server UaCsConfig
    • Set ServiceUiRole as DefaultRolePermission UaDvConfig
