Front-end and browser

Frontend does not start

After a Service UI update, you might encounter an error where only an empty page without content is being displayed. To avoid this, please always empty the cache after updating.

Chrome

  • Reloading the page and emptying the cache may not always solve the problem. Use Chrome's "Clear browsing data" function to make sure everything is cleared instead.
  • Set Time range to All time and check the "Cookies and other site data & Cached images and files" box when clearing browsing data

Change fonts / size

Scaling of modern web applications is based on standard font size from web browser (Default 16px). Setting is for all web applications.

  • Check if Password Safe Add-on for Firefox is installed: Disabling should fix this issue.

Annoying password save pop-up at OPC-UA configuration page

Firefox and Chrome ask to save password while navigating away from OPC-UA configuration page. Reason for that is OPC-UA password input field at this page. There is actually no solution to prevent annoying pop-up, since never save password for this page is disabling pop-up question at login form too.
